Personal Blogs: Portfolio

Graphically Designing specializes in clean, modern and beautifully minimalistic blog design. I love bold colors against white space, and well-organized, tidy layouts. I welcome you to visit some of the projects I’ve done recently.

Between Loads of Laundry: Margi
Margi is awesome to work with. This is the third blog we’ve done together, and each one is more divine than the one before. I love Margi’s modern, sleek style and simple but bold colors. The white on white layout is perfect simplicity.

The Extra Step: Leslie
Simple, modern, beautiful. The striking colors and simplicity make this blog easy to love and fun to look at.

The Extra Step

Especially Heather: Heather
Beautiful, one-of-a-kind space – just as lovely as the Blogger herself. This blog is built on self-hosted Wordpress using the Thesis theme. I loved working with Heather! I was a fan before I was her designer, so it was fun to get to work on her project.

Cappuccino Cottage: Deb
Ohhh, I loved this project. I do a lot of blogs but I don’t always finish and think, “I would totally move into this space!” But I adored working with Deb and her blog is now as beautifully designed as her home. Please visit her to see her beautiful photos and home projects.

One Nutty Girl: MJ
Love the beautiful, open white space on this one. MJ’s blog has beautiful decorating ideas, recipes (her cookies are TDF!) all showcased by a white-on-white layout. MJ’s blog is self-hosted Wordpress. This is the 3rd project I’ve had the honor of collaborating with MJ.

lifeingrace: Edie
Grace, gentle art of teaching, beauty in life’s best moments at home. Edie is a physician turned stay-at-home, homeschool mom. She blogs about life’s tender moments and needed a beautiful space to match.

Sprittibee: Heather
This is truly a one-of-a-kind space. She and her children sketched the charming illustrations in black and white. After transforming them to watercolor, we used them as navigation and sidebar illustrations. The real shining star of this blog is organizing over 4 years of content. Heather has been blogging since 2005, and has a wealth of posts!

Young Florida Naturalist’s Guide: Karin
Like a page ripped out of a nature notebook, this blog makover is intended to look hand-sketched with nature elements clipped out and glued on the page. Karin uses the blog to organize a local nature group, so it had to be well-organized as well as informative.

Tales of the Times: Karry
Like a century-old scroll, this blog echoes by-gone days. Karry wanted a rich, old library look and the background is a nod beautiful, old Victorian wallpaper.
