I usually try and label the kind of makeover my clients get as a reference for what each kind of makeover can do for your own blog. But well, The Nester is a legend in her own right. She had a Pro Makeover and then some. Like a makeover on steroids.
And I’ll try not to heckle her too much that we started this makeover in September. Yes, September. 
Before I do her reveal, I need to tease her a little bit with a story.
Once upon a time there was a little blogger girl named Nester. Or Nester-girl, as I call her. She had a very blah-gger blog that looked like this:
Then she entered a contest I had over at my personal blog Life With My 3 Boybarians. And she won a blog makeover. It ended up looking like this:
But now, Nester-girl needed a big-girl blog, because, she’s famous now, you now. But more than just famous, The Nester really needed to make sure her blog was easy to navigate. She wanted the clutter gone. She wanted beautiful navigation buttons. She wanted a subtle navigation bar. She wanted a clean open space. She needed Web 2.0 capabilities, including social media links. Now that I think about it, Nester wanted a lot of things. She’s bossy like that.
But her one redeeming characteristic – more than just bossy??? The Nester has divine taste. She’s discriminate & classy. She’s particular & simple. It may not have to be perfect to be beautiful, but it had to have both form and function. Those are some tough standards. I can always count on Nester-girl to flex my design muscles to their limits. She didn’t disappoint.
